The primary intention of the International Circling Federation is to support and promote  the dedicated individuals who have trained in and facilitate Circling and provide a consistent experience to persons wanting to participate in Circling events, coaching and training. In service of this, the ICF is tasked with managing the trademark for the term “Circling” in order to protect its legitimacy as originally developed by Guy Sengstock in 1998 and cultivated by the three official schools of Circling: the Circling Institute, Circling Europe, and the Integral Centered Leadership.  The ICF also endeavors to help the practice of Circling to grow & develop beyond its original creation in innovative ways that will deepen and expand the practice while maintaining the high standards the initial 3 schools established.
